Hi, I’m the creator of ScratchStar — but first and foremost, I’m a parent just like you.
And if you’re here, you probably know the feeling: your child, desperate to scratch an itch that just won’t go away… and you, caught in the impossible position of trying to stop them, knowing that scratching makes it worse — but not being able to take the discomfort away.

Eczema can feel cruel. Not just for our kids, but for us too.
I remember the restless nights, the constant red marks, and that sinking guilt of not being able to help my kid. I searched everywhere for a solution — anything that could bring them relief without causing more damage. But everything felt like it didn't work. So I made something better.

That’s how ScratchStar was born.

It’s a simple idea: what if we could give our kids a way to safely relieve the itch, without using fingernails?
What if we could give them something that’s not just safe — but satisfying, cooling, and fun to use?

ScratchStar combines gentle, fingernail-like bumps with a cool, soothing surface — designed to relieve that annoying itch, while protecting sensitive skin from further harm. It also acts as a mental distraction — something kids can grab, hold, and use when the urge to scratch hits hard.

Because scratching shouldn’t feel like the enemy.
And as parents, we deserve tools that actually help — not just advice to “keep their hands busy” or “apply more cream.”

We believe in relief without guilt, in giving children a sense of control over their bodies, and in making life just a little easier for families managing eczema every day.
